Job Description
New Era Technology is seeking a Security Installation & Service Technician to join our global team of technology professionals. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and service of Video Surveillance/Access Control systems, as well as assisting in the installation of low voltage systems. The role requires adherence to high-quality standards, professionalism, and a commitment to safety.
Primary Duties
- Reading and understanding installation processes
- Interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
- Addressing customer service issues promptly
- Maintaining accurate service installation tickets and inventory
- Utilizing Company software efficiently
- Working in a safe, respectful, and collaborative manner
- Complying with safety programs
- Demonstrating attention to detail and dependability
- Adapting to changing field conditions
- Pursuing career development opportunities
- Maintaining a professional attitude and appearance
- Keeping a clean and organized work environment
Competencies
- Prior experience with Video Surveillance/Access Control
- Knowledge of PC and IP integration
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Familiarity with basic hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks

Required Education & Experience
- Associate Degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in installing, programming, and troubleshooting Video Surveillance/Access Control systems
Hours of Work: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday
