Job Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Automation Engineer to join our team at Champion Technology Services, Inc. As an Automation Engineer III, you will play a crucial role in leading the design, development, testing, and implementation of automation systems to ensure project success. You will collaborate with team members, interface with clients, and contribute to the overall compliance and quality of projects. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
Primary Job Functions
- Lead and participate in the design and development of automation systems.
- Test, troubleshoot, and provide solutions for technical problems.
- Manage technical tasks with internal team members.
- Lead project tasks from design to project closure.
- Interface with clients and vendors on technical requirements.
- Ensure compliance and quality of projects within budget.
- Contribute to project scope and budget development.
- Provide project-level consultancy and client service.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 5 years of Automation or Controls experience.
- 2 years of leading automation tasks within a team.
- Technical Expertise in DCS, PLC, HMI, SCADA systems, and industry standards.
- ISA Certified Automation Professional (CAP ®) certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Fluency in English and flexibility for travel and physical tasks.
