Job Description

We are currently looking for a motivated Senior Claims Adjuster I to join our team at EMPLOYERS in New York. This is a remote position with East Coast hours, focusing on managing complex workers' compensation claims independently. The ideal candidate should be licensed in New York and have at least 5 years of experience in NY work comp claims adjusting.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of complex workers' compensation claims.
• Analyze statutes and regulations to make appropriate legal decisions.
• Negotiate settlements and direct legal strategies.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and jurisdictional statutes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of New York Work Comp Claims Adjusting experience.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Workers' Compensation laws and claim management procedures.
• Active New York license required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• AIC, ARM, or CPCU certification.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Pay Range

$55,000 - $85,000 (discussed on first interview) + comprehensive benefits package.

Work Environment

• Remote position available only in the United States.
• Schedule flexibility based on position requirements.
• Possible travel to off-site locations as needed.
