Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, test, install, and maintain large-scale electronic equipment or machinery.
• Apply principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals.
• Confer with vendors, contractors, and engineers concerning the design and maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Research equipment design proposals to determine feasibility of design for application.
• Plan and direct engineering personnel in fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment.
• Coordinate operation, maintenance, and repair activities to ensure optimum utilization of machines and equipment.

Technical Skills Required

• Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Design or modify electrical controls and systems to improve reliability and productivity.
• Program and troubleshoot controls with emphasis on motion controllers.
• Perform calibration of electrical systems and components.
• Read, interpret, and troubleshoot complex PLC and Servo programs.
