Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Toyo Tires NA is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our innovative team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in White, Georgia. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will design, test, install, and maintain large-scale electronic equipment while applying principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure equipment and systems are process capable and efficient.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, test, install, and maintain large-scale electronic equipment.
• Apply principles and techniques of electrical engineering to achieve project goals.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and engineers to ensure efficient production methods.
• Research feasibility of designs and analyze data to improve manufacturing processes.
• Direct engineering personnel in equipment fabrication and testing procedures.
• Coordinate installation and maintenance activities to optimize equipment utilization.

Technical Skills Required

• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Competency in designing or modifying electrical controls for machinery improvement.
• Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting motion controllers, preferably Mitsubishi PLC's.
• Capability to perform calibration of electrical systems and components.
• Skills in reading, interpreting, and modifying PLC and Servo programs.
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing PLC systems.
