Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, test, install, and maintain large-scale electronic equipment for manufacturing or power applications.
  • Utilize computer-assisted engineering design software to perform assignments.
  • Apply principles of electrical engineering to achieve project goals.
  • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and engineers to ensure optimal equipment design and maintenance.
  • Research and analyze data to determine feasibility of design applications.
  • Coordinate fabrication, installation, and maintenance activities to adhere to design specifications.
  • Apply statistical methods to estimate equipment capability for future requirements.

Technical Skills Required

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting controls, with a focus on motion controllers, particularly Mitsubishi PLCs.
  • Experience in designing or modifying electrical controls to enhance machinery reliability and productivity.
  • Capability to read, interpret, and modify PLC and Servo programs.
  • Skills in calibration of electrical systems and components.
  • Project management abilities from concept to implementation.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
