Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, test, install, and maintain large-scale electronic equipment for manufacturing or power applications.
• Utilize computer-assisted engineering design software for assignments.
• Apply principles of electrical engineering to achieve project goals.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and engineers on equipment design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Research and analyze data to determine design feasibility.
• Plan and direct personnel in fabrication and testing of equipment.
• Coordinate installation, maintenance, and repair activities for optimal equipment utilization.
• Design products and systems for seamless integration.
• Apply statistical methods to estimate equipment capability for future requirements.

Technical Skills Required

• Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Design and modify electrical controls systems for improved productivity.
• Competence in programming and troubleshooting controls, particularly motion controllers.
• Perform calibration of electrical systems and components.
• Read, interpret, and modify complex PLC and Servo programs.
• Communicate effectively with associates from all departments.
• Manage projects from concept to implementation.
• Interface with vendors and contractors for cost-effective solutions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
