Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. If you are passionate about practical cryptography and eager to contribute to the security of millions of customers’ data in a cloud environment, this position is for you.
Responsibilities
- Lead the software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, including feature definition, design, testing, and implementation.
- Operate in a globally distributed server environment, delivering secure and reliable services using C and Rust.
- Develop and maintain secure, user-friendly encryption tools and libraries to protect sensitive data inside and outside the cloud.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in leading design and architecture of systems.
- Mentorship or leadership experience in engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in the full software development life cycle.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
