Job Description
We are seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. If you are passionate about building secure and scalable software solutions, this role is for you. As part of the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing encryption tools and libraries to safeguard sensitive data in the cloud.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography.
- Contribute to building and operating globally distributed servers and services.
- Develop secure and reliable encryption libraries in C and Rust.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one software programming language.
- Experience in design and architecture of scalable systems.
- Prior mentoring or leadership role in engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in full software development life cycle.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
