Job Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. If you are passionate about practical cryptography, designing secure software solutions, and building user-friendly encryption tools, this opportunity is for you.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, including defining, designing, testing, and implementing new features.
- Operate a globally distributed AWS business and deliver foundational libraries using C and Rust for one of the most secure services in AWS.
- Collaborate with senior leaders, principal engineers, and security specialists to deliver and support cryptographic tools and libraries for customers worldwide.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software language.
- Experience in leading design or architecture of new systems.
- Previous mentoring or team lead experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Salary and Benefits
- Base pay ranging from $134,500/year to $261,500/year based on geographic location.
