Job Description
We are currently looking for a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. This role involves working on open source encryption tools and libraries to help AWS customers protect their sensitive data efficiently and securely.
Responsibilities
- Lead the software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, ensuring the design, testing, and implementation of new features.
- Operate within a globally distributed server environment, delivering foundational libraries using C and Rust.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and engineers to deliver and support cryptographic tools and libraries for internal and external customers.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in programming with at least one software language.
- Strong background in system design, architecture, and leading engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
