Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. As part of the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team, you will work on building and maintaining secure, open source encryption tools and libraries to protect sensitive data both within and outside the cloud.
Responsibilities
- Own the software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, including designing, testing, and implementing new features.
- Operate on a global scale with distributed servers and customers.
- Develop foundational libraries using C and Rust to enhance the security and reliability of AWS services.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in leading design or architecture of systems.
- Prior experience as a mentor or tech lead.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong full software development life cycle expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
