Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in cryptography to join the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. As part of this team, you will play a crucial role in contributing to open-source encryption tools and libraries that help AWS customers protect their sensitive data in the cloud. Your responsibilities will involve owning the complete software development lifecycle, designing secure solutions, and working alongside senior leaders to deliver cryptographic tools and libraries used globally.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in programming with at least one software language.
- Leadership experience in design and architecture of systems.
- Previous mentoring or team leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
