Senior Staff Engineer (Electrical and Controls)

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Senior Staff Engineer (Electrical and Controls) to join our team at Nestlé Purina. As a key member of our Support Center located near St. Louis, you will be involved in power and control systems engineering design, review, and oversight for capital projects and proprietary equipment. You will collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure compliance and contribute to the development of technical design guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Engage in engineering design reviews and supervise electrical fabrication documentation.
• Develop electrical and automation design, and provide support for process troubleshooting and enhancements.
• Coordinate design efforts with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring multi-discipline coordination.
• Contribute to the development of engineering standards and specifications.
• Lead and supervise a team of Electricians and travel as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Machine Design.
• Experience with NEC and NFPA electrical safety standards, and PLC programming.
