Service Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Service Technician to join NSK America Corp. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for evaluating, troubleshooting, and repairing our client's dental and medical products. Your role includes providing technical support to ensure customer repairs meet quality specifications. You will work closely with the service repair team to estimate repairs, adhere to productivity goals, and document all repair processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical expertise for all serviced equipment.
• Estimate repairs and prepare service quotes.
• Adhere to productivity goals and work instructions.
• Perform quality repairs meeting manufacturer requirements.
• Complete all documentation related to repairs and data entry accurately.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment following company policies.
• Participate in investigations and team meetings.
• Provide technical customer support as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years in a technical repair role preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical understanding preferred.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to read technical information and service manuals.
• Experience with dental, medical, or industrial products desirable.
• Attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

• Sit, use hands, reach, and talk frequently.
• Specific vision abilities required.
• Lift and carry up to 25 lbs occasionally.
• Computer proficiency.
• Normal eye/hand coordination, extended reach, and motor skills.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and stand or walk occasionally.
