We are looking for a dedicated Service Technician / Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Coast Counties Peterbilt. In this role, you will diagnose and complete repairs on heavy-duty trucks, ensuring quality repairs in a timely manner while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily repair strategies with the service team.
• Diagnose vehicle issues accurately and plan repair strategy.
• Complete repairs efficiently and ensure quality workmanship.
• Submit comprehensive repair write-ups and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with parts department for necessary components.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service and uphold company standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Service Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills for heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• CDL and own set of hand and air tools preferred.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Adherence to safety regulations and ethical standards.
