Shop Service Technician CDL Class B required

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Shop Service Technician with a CDL Class B license to join our team at Wayne Brothers Companies. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing on-road vehicles, small tools, and light/heavy equipment. Safety is our top priority, and we are seeking a dedicated individual who can work efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and identify potential hazards in the Service Center.
• Confer with supervisors and review work orders.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment.
• Utilize diagnostic devices to test components and systems.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines to ensure equipment is properly inspected and maintained.
• Document service records and maintain equipment.
• Be available for emergency calls outside regular working hours.
• Complete all assigned tasks in a safe manner.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in automotive maintenance, small tools, and light/heavy equipment.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, occasionally in seasonal temperatures.
• Valid driver's license and certifications such as OSHA and ASE are desirable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
