FirstHealth of the Carolinas, a leading healthcare system in central North Carolina, is seeking an Inpatient Behavioral Health Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team. As a vital part of our mental health program, the successful candidate will provide high-quality, compassionate care that meets the diverse needs of our patients.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a member of the multidisciplinary team.
• Coordinate services with community mental health centers and other agencies for continuity of treatment.
• Provide individual and family counseling.
• Conduct therapeutic groups with patients.
• Meet regulatory agency requirements and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• BSW or MSW from an accredited school of social work. LCSW or LCSW-A preferred.
• Experience in a mental health program, preferably in a psychiatric facility.
• Effective communication with diverse age groups and backgrounds.
• Ability to maintain clinical competency for age-specific populations.
