Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN Social Worker to join our team at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As a Social Worker, you will provide clinical social work services and psychosocial assessments to patients and their families, addressing various challenges and needs they may encounter during their stay at the hospital.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments for patients and families.
- Offer counseling and support for patients dealing with adjustment difficulties, financial issues, and family dynamics.
- Assist patients in understanding and coping with medical diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Develop discharge plans and provide end-of-life counseling when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in social work.
- LBSW, LMSW, or LGPC certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
