Job Description
LifeBridge Health is looking for a dedicated PRN Social Worker to join our team at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. The role involves providing clinical social work services and psychosocial assessments to patients and their families, addressing various common issues such as adjustment to institutional living, financial concerns, and counseling related to death and dying.
Responsibilities
- Offer psychosocial assessments to patients and families.
- Provide counseling on a range of issues including family relationships and discharge planning.
- Assist patients in coping with medical diagnoses and treatments.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Basic professional knowledge with a Bachelor's degree.
- 1-3 years of experience in social work.
- LBSW/LMSW/LGPC certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
