Job Description

We are seeking a Specialist Solutions Architect with expertise in Large scale Cloud and Managed Services, IT Security, Data Protection Services, Networking, Professional Services, and Hyperscale Cloud at Flexential. As a Specialist Solutions Architect, you will leverage your deep knowledge and industry experience to provide innovative solutions to customers, present at industry conferences, and collaborate with internal teams to drive business impact.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

• Collaborate with teams on intricate technical challenges and non-standard solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and design recommendations nationally.
• Stay updated on product offerings, trends, and technologies.
• Deliver deep-dive solutions to potential customers.
• Represent Flexential at technology conferences and create internal documentation.
• Facilitate workshops, attend strategic customer meetings, and assist in tool development for team productivity.
• Contribute to product direction and train internal resources.
• Support marketing initiatives by creating engaging content as a subject matter expert.
• Designated specialty areas will be based on business needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• 9-11 years of B2B Sales and/or support experience in telecom, co-location, or managed hosting.
• Technical background with success in consulting or managed IT services.
• Ability to translate complex technical issues into tangible solutions.
• Strong understanding of architecture methodologies, multi-tier environments, and specific specialty areas.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Windows, Linux, and specialty area technologies.
• Experience with databases, cloud platforms, server hardware, networking, security best practices, and DR solutions.
• Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and exceptional presentation abilities.
• Self-directed, persistent, adaptable, and quick thinker in sales environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work both in an office and remote environment.
• Comfortable with after-hours networking and occasional travel.
