Solutions Architect II

Job Description

We are hiring a Specialist Solutions Architect II at Flexential, a leading provider of cloud and managed services, IT security, data protection services, networking, and professional services. As an industry expert, you will be responsible for presenting complex solutions to potential customers, supporting sales and support teams, attending technology conferences, and more. You will be required to consult on technical issues, provide in-depth knowledge, and be involved in tool development and content creation.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

• Consult with SEs and SAs on specific areas of technology and services.
• Support sales and support teams with technical expertise and design suggestions.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of product offerings and industry trends.
• Assist in formal presentations to potential customers and attend technology conferences.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer for internal teams.
• Support marketing as a subject matter expert and contribute to content creation.

Required Qualifications

• 9-11 years of B2B sales and/or support in telecom, co-location, and/or managed hosting.
• BS and/or MS in an IT-related field preferred.
• Strong technical background and excellent communication skills.
• Solid understanding of multi-tier environments, specific specialty areas, and operating systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work in a dynamic office and remote environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Base Salary Range: $126,000 - $170,000 annually. Variable Pay: Discretionary annual bonus based on performance. EEO Statement: Flexential is an equal opportunity employer.
