Sonographer

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Sonographer to join our Radiology Team at Central Vermont Medical Center. As a Sonographer, you will perform a variety of routine, complex, and highly technical procedures using ionizing and high-frequency ultrasonic waves for disease diagnosis. You will work closely with the Radiology Director, Radiologist, and Ultrasound Supervisor to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and accuracy.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure image quality meets standards.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide timely and accurate patient results.
• Maintain patient records and uphold confidentiality and ethical standards.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved CAHEA/JRCT school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• ARDMS certified, ARRT preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience, preferably in vascular, OB, and small parts.
