GENERAL SUMMARY:
Corewell Health is seeking a Special Procedure Tech to provide direct care for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. Responsibilities include assisting physicians, performing IV starts, monitoring hemodynamics, operating equipment, and educating patients and families.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Monitor patients during procedures.
- Provide technical support and quality patient care.
- Perform and record physiological wave forms.
- Ensure radiation safety compliance.
- Participate in specialized procedures per site requirements.
STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements include completion of an accredited radiography program or Cardiovascular Technologist program, relevant experience, and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and RT certification. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
