Job Description
Corewell Health is seeking a Special Procedure Tech to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct care pre, intra, and post-heart and/or vascular procedures, assisting physicians, and delivering high-quality patient-centric care. The position may involve tasks such as IV starts, patient preparation, hemodynamics monitoring, equipment operation, procedure documentation, vascular access management, and patient/family education.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assist patients during invasive and interventional procedures.
- Deliver technical support and quality care during procedures.
- Perform and document hemodynamic and physiologic calculations.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and ensure equipment quality.
- Participate in 3D imaging, vascular, and cerebral cases as required.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited radiography or cardiovascular technologist program.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- Relevant certifications like BLS, ACLS, and specific RT or RCES/RCIS certifications.
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
