Job Summary:
Corewell Health is seeking a skilled Special Procedure Tech to provide direct care pre, intra, and post for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. The role involves assisting physicians, delivering quality patient-centered care, performing IV starts, monitoring hemodynamics, operating equipment, documenting procedures, and providing patient/family education.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients during procedures
- Provide technical support and quality care
- Record hemodynamic/physiologic wave forms
- Communicate effectively with team members and patients
- Maintain radiation safety standards
- Participate in specialized procedures per department requirements
Requirements:
- Completion of accredited radiography program or Cardiovascular Technologist program
- 1 year experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR
- Relevant certifications - BLS, ACLS, RT-CV/VI, RCES/RCIS
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills
