Job Description
Corewell Health is seeking a full-time Special Procedure Tech to provide direct care and support for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. This position involves assisting physicians, monitoring patients, operating equipment, documenting procedures, and educating patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide technical support.
- Perform IV starts, hemodynamic monitoring, and document procedures.
- Ensure quality patient/family centered care and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members.
Requirements
- Completion of accredited radiography or Cardiovascular Technologist program.
- Experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR procedures.
- Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and specific RT certifications.
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
