Job Description: Special Procedure Tech at Corewell Health
SIGN ON BONUS $7000
FULL TIME-DAYS
Under general supervision, the Special Procedure Tech provides direct care pre, intra, and post for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures to assist physicians and deliver quality patient/family-centered care. Responsibilities include IV starts, patient prep, hemodynamic monitoring, equipment operation, procedure documentation, vascular access management, and patient/family education.
Essential Duties
- Monitor patients during procedures
- Provide intra-procedural support
- Perform hemodynamic/physiologic recordings
- Maintain radiation safety standards
- Participate in 3D imaging and other procedures specific to the department
Standard Qualifications
Successful performance necessitates educational background, work experience, certifications, and specific skills such as computer proficiency, math, communication, and customer service abilities.
