Job Description
We are looking for a Special Procedure Tech to join Corewell Health on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, assisting physicians, and delivering quality patient-centered care. The position involves monitoring patients during procedures, performing IV starts, preparing patients, managing vascular access sites, and educating patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during invasive procedures.
- Provide technical support during procedures.
- Record hemodynamic/physiologic waveforms.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards.
- Participate in 3D imaging, vascular, and cerebral cases.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited radiography or cardiovascular technologist program.
- At least 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- Relevant certifications like BLS, ACLS, and RT-CV or RCES/RCIS.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
