General Summary:
As a Special Procedure Tech at Corewell Health, you will provide direct care pre, intra, and post for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, assisting physicians and delivering quality patient-centered care. Responsibilities include IV starts, patient preparation, hemodynamics monitoring, equipment operation, documentation, vascular access site management, and patient/family education.
Essential Duties:
- Monitor patients during routine invasive procedures.
- Provide intra-procedural technical support.
- Perform and record hemodynamic calculations.
- Communicate effectively with team members, physicians, and patients.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards.
Standard Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must have completed an accredited radiography program for Interventional Radiology or be a graduate of a Cardiovascular Technologist program for Cath Lab/EP Lab. Clinical experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR is required.
