Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Special Procedure Tech to join Corewell Health on a full-time basis. In this role, you will provide direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, supporting physicians and delivering quality patient-centered care throughout the process. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patients, performing technical procedures, ensuring radiation safety standards, collaborating effectively with the healthcare team, and maintaining quality assurance checks on equipment. Additionally, you will be required to assist physicians, operate specialized equipment, and provide patient education.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited radiography program or a graduate of a Cardiovascular Technologist program.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- BLS, ACLS, and other relevant certifications as per department requirements.
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
