Corewell Health is seeking a Special Procedure Tech to join our dynamic team in Wayne Hospital. In this role, you will provide direct care pre, intra, and post for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, assisting physicians and delivering quality patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during routine invasive procedures.
- Provide intra-procedural technical support and quality patient-centered care.
- Perform Hemodynamic/physiologic wave forms and calculations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and patients.
- Maintain radiation safety standards for staff and patients.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited radiography program for Interventional Radiology.
- Graduate of Cardiovascular Technologist program for Cath Lab/EP Lab.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- BLS certification and additional certifications as per department requirements.
