General Summary:
Corewell Health is looking for a Special Procedure Tech to provide direct care pre, intra, and post for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. The role involves assisting physicians, delivering quality patient-centered care, and performing a range of technical tasks to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients undergoing invasive procedures.
- Provide technical support and quality patient-centered care.
- Perform and record hemodynamic/physiologic waveforms.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited radiography program (JRCERT).
- Graduate of Cardiovascular Technologist program or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, RT-CV or VI, Registered RCES/RCIS/RT.
- Basic computer skills and exceptional communication skills.
