Toyo Tires, a leading international tire manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at the new state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in White, Georgia. As part of our innovative and quality-driven company, you will be responsible for designing, testing, installing, and maintaining large-scale electronic equipment for manufacturing or power generation purposes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, test, and maintain electronic equipment
- Apply principles of electrical engineering
- Collaborate with vendors and engineers for equipment design and maintenance
- Research and analyze data for application feasibility
- Coordinate fabrication and installation activities
- Design products and systems to improve machinery efficiency
- Apply statistical methods for equipment capability
Technical Skills Required
- Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems
- Design or modify electrical controls for manufacturing machinery
- Competent in programming and troubleshooting motion controllers (preferably Mitsubishi PLC’s)
- Calibrate electrical systems
- Read, interpret, and troubleshoot complex PLC and Servo programs
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Manage projects from concept to implementation
