Job Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our innovative team at Toyo Tires North America. In this role, you will design, test, install, and maintain large-scale electronic equipment for manufacturing or power generation purposes. You will utilize your expertise in electrical engineering to ensure the efficiency and reliability of our equipment and systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, test, install, and maintain large-scale electronic equipment for manufacturing or power generation.
- Utilize computer-assisted engineering design software for assignments.
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and engineers to design and maintain electrical equipment.
- Research and analyze data to determine the feasibility of designs.
- Coordinate fabrication, installation, and maintenance activities to meet engineering standards.
- Interface machines, hardware, and software in product design.
Technical Skills Required
- Troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical systems.
- Designing and modifying electrical controls to enhance reliability and productivity.
- Programming and troubleshooting motion controllers, preferably Mitsubishi PLC's.
- Calibrating electrical systems and components.
- Reading, interpreting, and modifying PLC and Servo programs.
- Managing projects from concept to implementation.
- Collaborating with vendors and contractors for cost-effective procurement.
Requirements
- Detail-oriented and functionally expert in electrical engineering.
- Team player with the ability to make an impact and work independently.
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in utilities and instrumentation.
- Proficiency in CAD programming.
