Responsibilities
- Design, test, install, and maintain electronic equipment for manufacturing or power applications.
- Use computer-assisted engineering design software for assignments.
- Apply principles of electrical engineering to achieve project goals.
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and engineers on equipment design and maintenance.
- Research and analyze data to determine design feasibility and application.
- Develop control systems and interface hardware and software.
- Coordinate fabrication and installation activities to meet engineering specifications.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
Technical Skills Required
- Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems.
- Design or modify electrical controls to enhance machinery performance.
- Competent in programming and troubleshooting controls with motion controllers.
- Perform calibration of electrical systems and components.
- Read, interpret, and modify complex PLC and Servo programs.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with associates.
