Job Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Toyo Tires NA. As a key member of our manufacturing company, you will be responsible for designing, testing, installing, and maintaining electronic equipment on a large scale. You will work on cutting-edge technology to ensure efficient production methods and optimal utilization of machines and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Design, test, install, and maintain large-scale electronic equipment for manufacturing or power generation.
- Utilize computer-assisted engineering design software.
- Apply principles of electrical engineering to achieve project goals.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure equipment and systems meet quality standards.
- Research, plan, and direct engineering personnel in the fabrication and development of test control apparatus and equipment.
- Coordinate operation, maintenance, and repair activities to optimize machine utilization.
- Design products and systems to interface machines, hardware, and software.
- Apply statistical methods to estimate equipment capability for future manufacturing needs.
Technical Skills Required
- Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems.
- Design or modify electrical controls to enhance reliability and productivity.
- Competent in programming and troubleshooting controls (preferably Mitsubishi PLCs).
- Perform calibration of electrical systems and components.
- Read, interpret, troubleshoot, and modify complex PLC and Servo programs.
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems.
- Effective communication and project management skills.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as necessary.
- Experience in utilities, instrumentation, and CAD programming is a plus.
