The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, installing, and maintaining large-scale electronic equipment and systems, ensuring efficient production methods and optimum machine performance.
Responsibilities
- Design, test, install, and maintain electronic equipment for manufacturing or power generation.
- Apply principles of electrical engineering to achieve project goals.
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and engineers to ensure equipment and systems' efficiency.
- Research and analyze data to determine design feasibility.
- Direct fabrication and installation activities to meet engineering specifications.
- Interface machines, hardware, and software to optimize system performance.
Technical Skills Required
- Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems.
- Design or modify electrical controls for manufacturing machinery.
- Program and troubleshoot controls, focusing on motion controllers.
- Calibrate electrical systems and components.
- Read, interpret, and modify PLC and Servo programs.
- Manage projects from concept to implementation.
- Interact professionally with associates, vendors, and contractors.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
- Plus: Experience in utilities, instrumentation, and CAD programming.
