Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join Toyo Tires NA, a renowned tire manufacturing company. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing, testing, installing, and maintaining large-scale electronic equipment for manufacturing and power applications at our cutting-edge facility in White, Georgia.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, test, and maintain electronic equipment for manufacturing.
- Apply principles of electrical engineering to achieve project goals.
- Collaborate with vendors and engineers on equipment design and maintenance.
- Research and analyze data to determine design feasibility.
- Plan and direct engineering personnel in equipment fabrication.
- Coordinate installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Design products and systems to optimize machine performance.
- Apply statistical methods to estimate equipment capability.
Technical Skills Required
- Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems.
- Design or modify electrical controls for machinery efficiency.
- Competent in programming and troubleshooting motion controllers, preferably Mitsubishi PLCs.
- Perform calibration of electrical systems and components.
- Read, interpret, and modify PLC and servo programs.
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems.
- Manage projects from concept to implementation.
- Interface effectively with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required.
- Experience with utilities, instrumentation, and CAD programming is a plus.
