Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Staff LPN to join our team at OhioHealth. As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will provide nursing care across various healthcare settings, collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional patient care. The LPN in this role will adhere to the nursing practice standards set by the Ohio Board of Nursing, delegate tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel, and serve as a valuable resource for other team members.
This position involves working in a dynamic environment that caters to a mix of medical patients requiring specialized interventions. Examples include partnering with consultant specialists for procedures specific to different medical conditions. The unit deals with a wide range of diagnoses, including cardiac, renal, infectious diseases, and gastrointestinal disorders.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- BLS - Basic Life Support certification by the American Heart Association
- LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse credential from the National Council of State Boards of Nursing
- Current Ohio State license
- Completion of Ohio Board of Nursing approved medication course
