Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Stroke to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As part of our Inpatient Rehabilitation unit, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and fostering a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate effectiveness of interventions.
- Recognize changes in patient condition and respond with appropriate actions.
- Coordinate discharge planning with a focus on patient safety and holistic care.
- Promote a culture of safety, effective communication, and collaboration among healthcare team members.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Completion of an accredited Nursing program.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in patient-centered care, critical decision-making, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
