Job Description

Join OhioHealth as a Staff RN/Clinical Educator at Pickerington Methodist Hospital, specializing in Critical Care/Med Surg. This unique role combines the responsibilities of a Clinical Educator and a Staff RN. As a Clinical Educator, you will provide educational support to designated clinical unit(s), including needs assessments, standardized education, and design of education based on best practices. As a Staff RN, you will deliver general nursing care, collaborating with the healthcare team to support patients and families along the illness continuum.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Required)
• BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association, RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing
• RN license or licensed/certified in assigned clinical area of expertise
• Bachelor's prepared in field of expertise
• Basic Life Support Instructor
• Knowledge of accreditation, regulatory, and certification requirements
• 3-5 years of experience in designated clinical area
• 2+ years of experience in education-adult development
• Strong communication skills

This full-time position entails a combination of hours in education and staffing, with the breakdown discussed during the interview process.
