Stocker/Cashier (Part-Time)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Stocker/Cashier to join our collaborative team at Aldi. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. Whether you are operating registers, stocking shelves, or providing exceptional customer service, each day will present new and exciting challenges.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and communicate information to direct leaders.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of documents and data.
• Operate machinery, stock shelves, rotate products, and create well-merchandised displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
• Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Efficient time management and knowledge of company products and services.
• For Cashiers: Proficiency in operating a cash register and complying with handling alcoholic beverages.
• For Stockers: Capability to operate equipment safely including electric/manual hand jacks.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
