Store Operations Assistant at Aldi
We are looking for a detail-oriented Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Execute tasks following the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills guidelines
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
- Report product issues, inventory discrepancies, and operational challenges
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Comply with company policies and confidentiality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe handling of equipment and ability to perform general cleaning tasks
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent, prior retail experience preferred
