Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience. This full-time position offers a starting wage of $17.00 per hour and an average of 32-40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining document security
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Excellent customer service and cash register operation skills
• Ability to operate store equipment and perform general cleaning tasks
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
