Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers. Collaborating with our team, you will actively contribute to the store's success by delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Participate in inventory management and monitoring
- Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and security protocols
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years old
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is advantageous
