Job Description

As a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience and maintaining store operations. You will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store's appearance remains top-notch.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer purchases and maintain general cleanliness of the store.
  • Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly, ensuring a well-organized store layout.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
  • Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies and procedures.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures while upholding security and confidentiality standards.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and handle customer transactions accurately.
  • Capable of performing general cleaning duties and stocking merchandise.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
