Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in the success of our store by merchandising products, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized environment for our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
- Comply with company policies and procedures while maintaining document security
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficient in cash register operation and equipment handling
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
