Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly. Responsibilities include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Report product feedback and inventory issues
- Conduct store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures
- Comply with company policies, upholding security and confidentiality
- Perform general cleaning duties
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate cash registers and store equipment
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience beneficial
