Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, providing exceptional customer service, and collaborating with team members. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week and starts at $17.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. competencies consistently.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and maintain cash handling procedures.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of maintaining cleanliness to company standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task effectively.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience acceptable.
